An energetic quintet led by Ravenna saxophonist Alessandro Scala, active for years in the jazz, bossa nova and nu-jazz scenes, performing at numerous festivals, shows and theatres. Over time the band has welcomed special guests such as Flavio Boltro, Giovanni Amato, Francesca Tandoi, Claudio Filippini, Giovanni Falzone, Mauro Ottolini, and above all Fabrizio Bosso, with whom Scala also recorded the album “Viaggio Stellare”.

This well-seasoned quintet brings together top musicians from the Italian jazz circuit, blending original compositions by the leader with reimagined classics from the Afro-American tradition. During the evening they will also present new, unreleased pieces ahead of the next studio recording.

For the occasion, the Passatelli stage will once again host special guest Fabrizio Bosso—an extraordinary musician who needs no introduction, now a landmark of Italian jazz and beyond, with countless collaborations in both pop and jazz.
