A Romagna osteria on Via Ponte Marino, on the ground floor of the Cinema Teatro Mariani.
Osteria Passatelli, a restaurant in Ravenna's historic centre
The dining room is on the ground floor of the Cinema Teatro Mariani, a former cinema whose original screen is still visible and whose stage hosts live music. Romagna cooking — passatelli, pasta rolled by hand, land and sea — is served in an informal room, without ceremony.
The tables keep the spirit of an osteria: a place to meet, rather than a room put on display. Wine and dishes speak of Romagna today, with the sfogline in the kitchen and a menu that changes with the season.
You will find us at Via Ponte Marino 19, a short walk from the mosaics and the life of the centre. Visitors come for a typical Romagna lunch or dinner; locals return for everyday tables, pizza or a live-music evening. The rooms, carved out of the former cinema, also host private events, business dinners and receptions.
The dishes that tell our story
The name is a programme: passatelli, in broth or dry, are the signature dish. Alongside them, traditional pasta — cappelletti, tagliatelle, strozzapreti, curzul — rolled with a pin by our sfogline, piadina, land and sea mains, and pizza. Romagna recipes, quality ingredients, without mannered nostalgia.
A story spanning more than 160 years
Osteria Passatelli 1962 is located on the ground floor of a place that still represents a true cultural icon of the city: the second floor of the building houses, in fact, the headquarters of the "Cinema-Teatro Mariani", Ravenna's cinema hall that boasts more than 160 years of history.
